Unsatisfying Knowledge
Soft as a baby's cry
Light as the sky
The endless sky
The sky beyond the blue
The sky beyond the stars
The empty, cold, weeping sky
The symbols; the obtrusive whisperings
They repress me
His mind flies higher
Mine falls lower
Until it reaches the other side
He has the knowledge
No matter wished against
And I can no longer hear it
Soft as a leaf in the wind
For it has left me
Worthless
Helpless
Left me and my hope
My optimism, be gone
And it leaves me to know
Not to wonder
To be certain of the impossibility
Light as the sky
The endless sky
The sky beyond the blue
The sky beyond the stars
The empty, cold, weeping sky
The symbols; the obtrusive whisperings
They repress me
His mind flies higher
Mine falls lower
Until it reaches the other side
He has the knowledge
No matter wished against
And I can no longer hear it
Soft as a leaf in the wind
For it has left me
Worthless
Helpless
Left me and my hope
My optimism, be gone
And it leaves me to know
Not to wonder
To be certain of the impossibility
