What is the heart?
If I crack open your chest will I find it?
If I crack open your skull will I find it?

The heart wants what it can't have,
What happens when you can have it?
What is the heart?
Is it an organ, is it a spiritual being?
To go deeper, what is love?
A trick of the mind?
A useless emotion?

Oh, I see this is the heart,
Here in my hand.

I understand now,
The heart is the heart,
An emotion and an organ,
The heart keeps you alive physically and spiritually,
The heart is the source of love,
Love is not a useless emotion or a trick of the mind.

Love and the heart go hand in hand.
