Wasting time on little things

Wasting time on meaningless souls
Wasting time on hiding yourself
Hiding from the world to see
Only to find that it wants to see.

Wasting time on life and death
Wasting time on perfecting imperfection
Perfecting yourself to be a follower
Only to find that you are a leader.

Wasting time on labels and stereotypes
Wasting time on being alone
Being lonely to have affection and attention
Only to find that you aren't alone; people care for you.

We waste so much time on tweaking and perfecting
That we don't see the beauty in live, in ourselves
We watch the world pass by
As we keep on wasting time.
