Do You Believe?

Born in a world that calls for trouble
To find one's identity seems impossible
And through these years, I've worked and worked
To find the truth about my life's worth
What do I value?
What do I seek?

If its in a song
Would it go something like this:
“How could something that's so wrong
be exactly what I need?”

But what is the thing that puts me at wrong?
Crosby, Ovechkin, Toews or Staal,
Just like them, I'm been trying to do it all

So what exactly do I need to avoid a fall?
I need the past, the past that leads people of the future
The present, although needed, doesn't make the whole picture

In fact, when I look back
My life hasn't been a walk in the park
Past battles, my fights with sharks
Have made me stronger

So the few who'd swear
That I'd never go anywhere
Where are you now?

Now I'll prove to you
That who I will be
Is up to me
And all the never ending possibilities
Will prove how much I can be
