My Womanhood

Cold Night winter brace
Makes me fill so shuttered
Its got a grip on my throat
Making my word come out muttered

It's confusion I see
It's the woman in me

Sailing northward
When I'm south
Trapping words
In my mouth

Not letting me
Speak

A little.

When the truth is
I don't know where I am going

I dont have the compass to lead me
That goal to meet me
That person to feed me

Every bit of my
Womanhood

It's the woman inside me that tells me where to go
Maybe I should trust her like I tust myself sometimes.
