Sunset on the Beach
I watch the waves, how they come and go.
How the sky has a yellow, orange glow.
I sit in the water, feel the sand in my toes.
Listening to the seagulls, as they softly crow.
Slowly the sun, starts to set down.
Casting a dark shadow, upon the town.
I watch it go, till there is no more light.
I sit there and realize it is now the night.
