A night at a time.

The creaks are heard from a distance,
Sending the notes through the night.

The wind blows so slightly,
It’s barely recognized.

A glow spreads across the sky,
As the moon appears in time.

Slowly creeping through the clouds,
Hopelessly playing a mime.

Once again the creaks surely sound,
As leaves swirl with each chance.

Astonishing the passersby,
creating a hypnotizing dance.

Eyes are set straight ahead,
So mystifying, so intense.

Now, they roam the ghastly roads,
Constructing a puzzling suspense.

Each day takes control,
When the lines are put aside.

Leaving words in place,
The myths and lies are denied.
