An Unfinished Poem

And so it seems I'm lost In my own mind, and It's eating me alive.
My thoughts are what it strives,
And yet I'm too far to be reached beneath these empty seas of words beyond paper.

Rewrite our history and erase it like you have before,
just do it again so we can pretend I really know who you are.
Forge the signature of the wind and wrap me in leaves,
so it seems I've been deceived.

He who wears his heart on his sleeves loses the opportunity to be alone.
That's all you can learn, but you don't, you don't learn.
It's too late to turn back.

Dreams smashed to pieces you live inside me.
Feeding of worries and tears that you bring.
So read the headlines my heart drown of sea.
It's been clearly announced, the end of you and me.

Don't Breathe, Don't speak the words on my lips.
I'm a living corpse, a mindless body, and thats it.
I'm your hanging limbed baby doll of saddened satin and withered lace.
I'm broken, I'm your disgrace.

An ocean filled with morphine numbs my heart.
Floating to the surface and drifting apart.
I'm bleeding all over says the tears that drop down.
They run a river of eternity but don't touch the ground.

Dreams smashed to pieces you live inside me.
Feeding of worries and tears that you bring.
So read the headlines my heart drown of sea.
It's been clearly announced, the end of you and me.

Attacked and defeated you lie next to me.
Dividing my hope and originality.
So hear the news, I just passed away.
They found My body on the ocean floor just yesterday.

Scars of abuse from only inside.
Finding our clues inside the lines.
using makeup to cover up the lies.
And so you think, what a clever disguise.

Dreams smashed to pieces you live inside me.
Feeding of worries and tears that you bring.
So read the headlines my heart drown of sea.
It's been clearly announced, the end of you and me.

So read the headlines my heart drown at sea.
(So hear the news I just passed away)
It's been clearly announced, the end of you and me
(they found my body on the ocean floor just yesterday)

It's the end of you and me
