Affliction

Affliction

My deepest fear is not death.
Nor is it the darkness of others.
My deepest fear is to lose,
The people I truly love.

Is my heart strong enough?
Hearts have been broken once, twice...
Can my heart handle the pain?
Is it able to repair itself?

We are like little children.
We sometimes get lost
fooled by the wrong light.
But our loved ones take our hands.

Who is there to catch you if you fall?
No stranger or person you might know.
Our loved ones are always there for us.
How badly it hurts if you lose this person.

Hearts are broken; its tears are like fire.
Burning the names of those lost into our mind.
Not forgetting our laughter and love,
nor our wonderful talks and hugs.

We all once fought for something.
Would you ever fight for your strongest love?
Would you ever give your life for them,
and look straight into the eyes of Death?

True love doesn’t lie or hurt,
Nor is it jealous or angry.
True love sees, feels and touches
each other’s heart in many ways.

My deepest fear is something,
Something nobody wants to lose.
So cherish each other,
because true love exists forever.
