THE HAPPY FAMILY

It was late among the twilight hours
Little girl cries "mommy,mommy,mommy"
Daddy walks in.

"I want my mommy"
"MOMMY"
Daddy restrains little girl

"Mommy help me!"
Daddy tightens his grip
"I hate you daddy"

A flash in daddy's eyes
Mommy had said those words
Just before she died

Out of anger
Out of spite
Daddy scolds little girl
"You killed her"
Little girl crumbles to a coma-like state

Dawn arises from dusk
Daddy goes to wake Little girl
Little girl is dead.
