That Type of Girl

If you knew the real me,
Would you treat me just the same?
Because this bitch of a girl,
Is just a character I play.
Really I'm quite caring,
And forgive so easily,
But if you knew this kind of girl,
Would you still treat her like you treat me?
Or would you walk all over her,
Like she's the pavement on the ground.
And take advangetage of the fact,
That she's too naive to glance around;
See why I can't let my guard down?
I have to stand tall,
Act out and act tough,
Cause in this world,
Even thats not enough.
I've gotta stand up for myself
If I want some respect,
So I'm alittle bit bossy,
And my life's pretend,
But if I dared to take all walls down,
I'd be that girl.
The type of girl that's so naive,
Too naive to glance around.
So each and every morning,
I put a mask over my face,
And only let you see
The character that I play.
