Antidote or Addiction

Just a day past the frost
I have tried to regain that which I lost
If I could remember
When my stars were all aligned for me

I sat out in the snow
Having the wind blow through my hair although
Should have know what was next
The cold took that all away from me

Gone with my pen
Scratch away all the words I left unsaid

I have found a new way to save myself
