Life's stark Reality

More random poems! Most are quite old to me when I was genuinely depressed, not going through a typical teenage stage...

Bloody tears cascading down my eyes,
Seek on through, beyond the lies.
And enter a sick world named humanity.
All I see is sheer insanity.

In my mind I see myself,
Dressed in rags, with no wealth.
All on my own, sitting on a swing,
Cold steel eyes, no more crying.

In this nightmare world of solitary pain,
Everything to loose, nothing to gain.
Backstabbing, betrayal, life of stress,
Laugh out loud, why do my best?

I’ll turn to dust anyways,
Slowly through the passing days.
Sounds emo, selfish with a hint of immorality.
But this is nothing but life’s stark reality.
