Addiction

She woke up to find that she had fallen on the bathroom floor.
She felt as if there were knifes in her head.
She tried getting up,
to only fall again.
Her hair in knots, and covered in saliva.
Her makeup smeared across her face.
Her weak legs were forced to carry the weight they could not lift.
She looked at her self in the one mirror that was not yet cracked.
And saw her self for what she truly was.
An addict.
She was addicted.
She banged her fist against the mirror,
as quiet sobs fell to her feet.
Her screams of terror fled out to the world,
for us to hear.
She banged the mirror once again with her fist.
It cracked.
