Friendships

Friendships are like twigs.
You can break them easily by avoiding your friends by not calling back or something,
Or by just being mean to them and being ignorant.
You can also be very careful with it.
By just holding it in the palm of your hand and just caressing it.
Friendships are also like bendy straws,
But if you bend it too much you might end up having a broken relationship.
These things can happen if you don’t call back a friend when in need,
Or don’t give a birthday present on the same day,
Or if you just try to treat it like it’s a trivial nuisance,
Because, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
Sometimes friendships can be easy, but at the same time humdrum,
Because everyday you might do the same thing,
And it works,
But in the end there is no excitement whatsoever.
Being malicious and vicious and mean to your friends when you are mad,
Doesn’t help your friendship…AT ALL!
It just breaks the newly germinated twig that had so much potential written in its destiny,
And if you just break that relationship and then get back together that might just be a temporary truce.
But all in all, “There are big ships and little ships, but the best ships are friendships
