Fake Smile

She wears her fake smile
Everywhere she goes
And if she'll ever take it off, no one knows
Her fake smile is right above her chin
She's so ashamed of where it's been
And when she looks into the mirror
She wants to break in two
But her fake smile won't let her fall for you.
All her life she's wanted
To cry so many tears
And maybe that's just what
The fakeness fears
They don't know she's not real
They don't understand how she feels
Sometimes she lies awake, crying inside
But she won't let her guard down
For fear of her pride
She's always hid behind a smile
And only a few know it's fake
They just can't see her smile fade away
