Colors of Autumn

You fell from the sky like a
heavenly dancer with streams
of color upon your back.
You fluttered through the air,
falling with dignity despite
the fact that you did not have the
strength to stay connected
to others like you. You
do not even wear the
same green hue, but
a dull orange or even
a yellow or brown hue.

Your time in this world has
ended, slowly, but it has
ended. The others will
join you, and you
shall all be one again. To-
gether in a blanket of
yellow, orange, and brown
on the ground of this
dank and dirty town.
