Sorrow Sings Into My Ears

Sorrow sings into my ears
It comes in low whispers from my fears
From within I feel the tears
And hear words of misery
For they ring loud in my ears
So sweet words of grace slip from my lips
To cast away the sorrow
But has a taste of hate and disgrace
And now sorrow kisses my lips
And I sing this sweet song from my lips
Everyone ignores the sorrow I sing
No one cares
They just walk away
So my fears are here
Both loud and clear
Till someone listens
Or takes away my fear
Death chants its way through the line
And broken angels keep falling without a wave goodbye
It makes His servant want to die
And the devil laughs and spreads more sorrow
Howling it out in whispers to the moon
And lets that sweet voice sing
“For sorrow is now here
So hold on to what you have
For sorrow, my dear, has come here
To give you no hope
And revel in your fear
Because I want you to cry
To make you die on the inside
And my words can do just that
So I sing sorrow into your ears.”
