She-Wolf

The she-wolf howls at the moon,
Spinning her own majestic tune.
The moon is full this fateful night,
Emitting a dim but taunting light.
The she wolf stands upon the trees,
She sings her song and then she leaves.

She knows her own heart’s melody,
Her soul is careful, yet so free.
She sings the song inside her soul,
Her ancient tune makes her whole.
She has the true heart of the wild,
Her song just shows she’s nature’s child.

Do you know just who she is?
She’s my beast that sleeps within.
