My Dying Red Rose

"My dying red rose,
I can hear your heart slowly beating.
The pedals keep falling away,
as you're silently weeping.

Nothing has changed,
They pierced through you once again.
Your outer shell has cracked
showing your vulnerable side.

My dying red rose,
your heart is coming to a close.
Your last pedal has reached it's end
just like your undying love..."

Deep in thought she silently cries herself to sleep.
Stupid enough to believe,
she lead her heart on again and again.
Blindly she keeps looking and looking
But it's all fade to black.
As she sings into the night,

you are turning colder.
The thorns are hurting
as your pedals get rougher.

My dying red rose,
your heart is coming to a close."

She pounds her knuckles onto the wall with anger.
desperately looking for an escape
She wants to keep the flame alive as the winter sets in.
She wants to feel and leads her heart on again and again.
but it's all fade to black
as she sings into the night,
