The Love I Feel

The love I seem 2 hold inside

Is something I’ve never felt.

It’s so much stronger,

and so much more sincere.

I have never felt so strong,

as I am now that I am with you.

I have been through so much in my life,

I never thought I would recover.

My heart started healing again,

and I seemed to be more happy.

I have lost so many things in life,

But you were something to keep living for.

The hurt I had so far inside,

Soon came up to haunt me.

The pain I felt had returned,

but something kept me searching.

I stopped looking for light in my life,

For I found my self in darkness;

I was soon proved wrong.

The sparks I felt had disappeared,

Along with all my joy.

I began to sit and wonder often,

What is my true love?

I then looked up and prayed to God,

With tears streaming down my face.

I then found answers that were hidden

and left so deep inside me.

All the moments that we shared,

Seemed to life me off the ground.

All the smiles that we shared,

Were left so far behind me.

I had forgotten all of who I was

And who you saw me as.

The love I felt,

Seemed to be far away.

But what I didn’t seem to see,

It was right in front of me all this lonely while.

I forgot what it was like to be inside your arms,

And forgot every spark that you seemed to let me see.

I have forgotten what it was like to love

Until I almost lost you.

That one night I found God,

The answers were suddenly found.

The moments we shared

And the love you had for me,

Was all my love compared.

The love I kept inside of me,

That I wouldn’t let myself find,

Has come above the surface

To paint such a world filled with light.

All the smiles and happy tears,

Were only a part of me.

I figured out who I am,

Just remembering all these thoughts,

For you always made me see,

The person deep inside of me.

Every word I have spoken

Have been words of truth,

But so many were so confused

But now became more clear.

The testing God has put me through

Has finally came to an end,

And now I know that truly

The greatest love of all

Is love I have for you!
