we talked and we talked
all day; all night
I wanted him
so oout went the nvite
he showed up and all was great
he said bye
god, it was late
I got a new text
my heart started pounding
but it fell so fast
the music ceased sounding
it took all I had
not to fall to the ground
and cry like a bitch
so today is a new day
but the feeling remains
I can't eat
couldn't sleep
my throat hurts
and the pain won't reside in another
but consumes the whole of me.
