Journey Through Time.

[verse 1:]
Childhood fairy tales
Haunt me from the bottom of my heart
The memories
Are pleading me.

[verse 2:]
Locked away, long ago,
Thought my silly dreams had torn apart
But now the seal
Is opening.

[pre-chorus:]
And each time I try to escape
Blind my eyes,
The truth forces me awake;
Forces me,
And reality reminds...

[chorus:]
Of how time rushes by and goes so fast,
Of my guiltily regretted sinful past,
Of the past, the present and the future,
And how we can’t go back.

Of how I’m moving and breathing and living and feeling,
And hurting and lurking and praying and dreaming,
Of my flesh, my blood and my broken soul,
And how destiny’s not in my control.

Of this tragic tale I call a life;
Of this journey through time.

[verse 3:]
I’m an open book,
But nobody bothers to read me.
Take a look;
Ignore what they see.

[verse 4:]
Clear my mind,
And take a breath,
You’re just being selfish again.
Why do you bother dreaming?

[pre-chorus:]
And each time I try to escape
Blind my eyes,
The truth forces me awake;
Forces me,
And reality reminds...

Of this tragic tale I call a life;
Of this journey through time.

But then again,
It’s just my life...

It’s just a journey through time.
