Spanish: A Language that speaks to me

For everyone else all classes,
that speak English aren't a hassle,
but as for language classes, like Spanish,
they want there to be an universal language, for Spanish to vanish.

I, on the other hand,
think Spanish is interesting and grand,
and the best part of it is, it comes easy to me;
while my classmates, whenever they need help,
well, they come to me and plead.

I'm glad to help,
but it's so funny I want to yelp,
because I wondered how they were able to,
get into a class such as Spanish 2.

I help them with something so simple,
that we learned in Spanish 1,
and I thought to myself, 'Did they pay attention, or just have fun?'

I always ponder this,
as I predict when their lips,
form to speak to me, without any delay,
'What the heck did she say?'

I wouldn't say I'm the best,
but I'm one of a few who aces all the tests.
