Beauty and the Bitch

Just another weed,
In the garden with one rose,
Bless you Angel, Beauty, Love,
Then murder me, the bitch.

Love hath no limits,
That's what they said to me,
And for once the weeds were right,
But don't we all wish that they were wrong?

If love knows no limits,
Then I am doomed for eternity,
Living, seeing, breathing,
For never do weeds and roses touch.

You stand in the centre with all the other plants,
Pretty, but less so than you,
You would say they are better than you,
Us weeds know otherwise though.

One day, pehaps,
When I am tall and sting in all my netal glory,
I'll stumble across you alone.
And we'll see if fairy tales really do have a happily ever after.
