Fall For Me Instead

I notice from a distance far away,
Your eyes lighting up when you see her,
Your eyes like fluoresce bulbs
Your smile is real, your white teeth glowing

I notice from behind a wall,
She's just joshing you,
She doesn't really love you,
Her eyes full of tricks,
Her eyes like the Mad Hatter's,
Her smile isn't real,
The smile plastered on,
sewed on,
Just when you're around

I notice from behind a locker,
She's swarmed up by boys,
She's laughing like a hyena,
And you're standing over there,
Your eyes wandered up at her,
Thinking, 'Why can't I make her laugh like that'
'Why doesn't she smile like that when she's with me?'
All these questions, trying to break into your head,
Flood, Swarm,
But you just ignore these truths,
You want to believe she loves you for who you are

I notice from behind a book,
You're missing that girl bad,
You're doodling her name into you book,
And I bet your heart is rotting slowly,
Your eyes are dull and glassy,
And when I ask, "Are you okay?"
You just stare at me, a small spark in your large eyes
I want to tell you, she's not the one,
But you're too tightly wrapped around her finger,
Too blinded by the blindfold of love,
Don't you see,
You're just a toy,
A toy to her

I notice in my heart,
My heart thumps loud and fast,
Whenever you're near,
Whenever you talk to me,
Whenever you're leaning over me,
I want you bad,
I've fallen for you,
But you're still on her,
and that makes me sad

I notice from behind a fence,
She's yelling at you,
You're yelling at her,
Her flawless face is red like a balloon,
Opaque tears,
Streaming down her face,
You're screaming,
Your arms flailing around,
You're mad,
She's mad,
Your heart is cracking,
Your heart's breaking,
That girl you've fallen so hard for,
She's grinning,
Behind all those crocodile tears,
There's a grin, as big as a watermelon half,
She's tricking you,
You're not seeing,
Blinded by heartbreak.
You two walk away, opposite directions,
And you're coming towards me...

I notice from my eyes,
Your lips on mine,
They're soft and warm,
Gentle and smooth,
Your eyes are closed,
And your arms snake around my waist,
Your hands are pulling me in,
My arms are over your shoulders,

He notices from his eyes,
The faux girl,
Standing with her mouth open as big as a plate,
She's red still,
She's obviously mad,
He doesn't care one bit,
My kisses are real,

And from this he notices,
I'm the one who loves him,
He's the one who loves me,
