I Believe In You

You're amazing. You're filled with talents that
I could only dream of having. You're
Funny; you have a sense of humor to die for--
I wish I had it. You've got so many
Outstanding qualities that you never let show because
You don't know how to show them;
You've never been asked.
But I want you to.
Show me who you really are; I love
What I see so far and can only imagine
The amazing qualities you hold deep within
Your soul. I want to get to know you, the
Real you, the uncensored you, the you
That you claim nobody else has cared enough to
Try and uncover. Show me that person that I
Know you are deep down. Show me that
Confident person I know exists beneath
The skin, the person encaptured in your soul,
Begging for a release. That person, I want to
See him. Show me. Be who you really are.
I guess what it all boils down to
Is
I believe in you. I believe
In you. I believe in
You.

Why yes, this was inspired by someone. :) Also, the odd line breaks were intentional--this poem is meant to be read all at once with very few breaks, as if the narrator is pouring her heart out.
