How long is forever ?

jump over the fence
lay to rest in the field
in between the apple trees
sweet, sweet spring never yield

sit with me under the setting light
helix curls fall
tangle in with the grass
wake up the sleeping fireflies

you declare you want this forever
but I how I wonder
because I don’t think it’ll be sufficient
how long is forever ?

face to the sky
do you feel as bound as me
please be truthful
as drawn in to our eternity?
