The Sunset

The breath taking sight stupefied the young girl; colors upon colors made this flower field so beautiful. The sun was only minutes away from the sunset and in the sky above her, when looked at closely, was the crescent moon that would become much more beautiful once the sun had disappeared from view. Almost like a game of hide and seek or even tag. The girl thought the view couldn't become much more beautiful until the sun had finally came into a perfect position in the sky. The trees that seemed to have been miles upon miles from the two had left long shadows of their own structures. The shadows from the flowers in the field before them seemed like small, moving black dots from a distance. Some of the flowers that were only several yards from the girl had some petals, just barely being thrown around from the wind. As the girl looked on from wonder, started to think of some of the thoughts she had from her day. Except this time she had several new things to ponder that didn't matter to her at all due to the view. With those thoughts buzzing around her head, she looked over at her crush's picture that was in her hand and back at the field. Nervous as to the fact that he might know that she likes him. After several moments of trying to say something she finally said, "It's so beautiful...” her voice being very soft and hard to hear.
