Blind

Did you care to notice,

The falling tears?

Did you bother to portray,

Every single one of your fears?

For these fears that control us, obscene and blatantly obvious,

Are invisible to those who do not dare to watch.

I dare to watch those in pain and suffering, trying in futile remorse,

To save them from the approaching storm.

I battle every day, to find good in the world.

Yet, all I see is deceit and lies:

Behind your vividly disturbing blue eyes.

Do not look into them, for the swirling pool of fate will wash you away.

Until you become nothing more, were it for:

The devils behind blue eyes.

The devils that cry, the devils that make me sigh.

Regretful, I cannot bare to help such a fool as you,

A fool for love, a pawn in her game.

It is all you have come to be,

The blind swordsman, not even trying,

Not once,

To regain his sight.
