Angel of Tears
She cried a cry
That not even human kind could hear
Her heart broke in two and fell to the floor
With each and everyone's sadness and despair
As she cried this cry
Which human kind would never hear
Her knees gave way and she fell to the floor
With her each and every single tear
She cried every night and every day
With the rising sun, the shining stars, and the glowing moon
With no one there to hush her falling tears
Or to spread their wings of comfort
Around her small frail soon to be shivering body
She almost lost all hope
That someone would hear her cry
And to comfort her with their never-ending love
But fate had other things in mind
As something wonderful happened
To her on that cold December night
As a heavenly glow covered her entire frail body
And a ghostly Angel soon appeared
And he said to her
"My dear, my child
Hush those tears
For you have begun
A greater purpose in life,
For you have just given your tears
To the Earth."
The little girl looked up to him and said
"But why is that so special?
I've stayed in this house longer than I can remember
Crying my tears to their full extent
Feeling so down and blue
That no one has come to comfort me
Nor even to welcome me
Or even tried to wipe away my tears."
The Angel stated; after the little child was through
"My dear, my child;
The reason why you cry and feel so blue,
And why you are so special
Is because, my dear sweet little child
You are the one and only true
Angel of Tears."
And with that the little child smiled from ear to ear
And took hold of the Angel's left hand
And they both walked out that house
And as their wings of light and blue grew
They floated up to Heaven
Where the little child can still be seen
Smiling from ear to ear
And with love in her heart.
