Somone Who Cares

I sit in a room,
dark and dreary,
I look out the window,
bleak and eerie

I walk down a hallway,
cold and numb,
I sit down and cry,
no one can hear me...

Someone comes to me,
smiling and pretty,
Her sincere blue eyes,
full of sympathy...

She helps me up,
I smile she smiles too,
happy to lend a hand or two.
Her name is beautiful to me.

I hug her tightly and say,
"I love you...
"You are my shining star,
Hannah Scarbrough."
