Panda Bears

If I could have one thing right now
Right now at this very moment,
It’d be a panda bear

I want a big fluffy panda bear
No, I’m not crazy no, I’m not four
Panda bears are just something I adore

They’re nice and plain
Just black and white
And they never mind when you hold them tight

They sit around all day and eat bamboo
And sometimes I wonder if they laugh at you;
For working so hard when you can just sit and play

I wonder if a panda bear would know,
That sometimes you have to let things pass
Sometimes you’ve gotta give working hard a rest

I wish I could have a panda bear
Because they’ll always cuddle always love
Now I wonder if they’re always above,
The clouds the worry and all the bad things

I want a panda bear to be my friend
So I can be like them never worrying about the end
Panda bears make me happy, and I deserve happy right?

Well dear diary tonight;
I found my panda bear but he looks kind of strange
Instead of all four legs he has only two
He has loving green eyes and a cocky little grin

But beneath all that I know what I’ve won
I know I’ve got myself a panda bear
He always smiles and he doesn’t seem to cry

He’s horribly curious and always asks why?
This panda bear isn’t actually a bear
But he always cuddles and always cares

So dear diary today I got what I wanted
I got what I deserved, I got my happy
My love and now my worries are heard

I’ve come to the conclusion I’m a little strange
But I don’t mind and neither does he
He’s always smiling so brightly

Today I got my very best wish
I got my panda bear, I got him tight
Now I know I’m going to be alright
