My Comfort Zone

I’m facing down the old dusty lane,
Each barefooted step was full of pain.
Though my roads were a little bit rocky,
You were always there for me.

The sun was a little bit setting,
We can see it clearly from where were standing.
It completes the magic of the moment,
Reminiscing the good old days, we’ve spent.

Ever remember that day?
When I break down and say,
“There’s no chance, I’m giving up”,
I’m crying and you were there until I stop.

You offered me your velvet shoulders,
In there I weep until I dried my tears.
Life sometimes is not so easy,
Thanks for staying there beside me.

And I’m feeling better now,
You’re leaving but you’ve said somehow,
“If you need anything, just beep me on the phone,
Don’t hesitate to ask, I’m your comfort zone.”

I smiled and close my eyes halfway,
I could see you leave so vividly.
The part of my hart says, “Ok you can go”,
But the other says, “I won’t let you.”
