I Don't Love You Anymore

Your words seem so appealing

Kissing me with promiscuous lips

Taking my heart and soul, revealing

The hope, shreds and rips

Of a newly broken soul

People told me not to trust

Saying that your lies were your honesty

Incapable of love, only lust

Lacking ideals to promise me

That you’d be there until the end of time

But you were only there until tomorrow

Now just a ghost of my mistakes

I can no longer feel any sorrow

These pictures represent fakes

Of love, care and you

So I will sit on this bed of self pity

Until I can gain back my pride

And I will leave this city

Of fools and lies to those who have died

Because of broken hearts

And you can drown in your spite

While I live on without your hate

Finally I can do what is right

Before it became too late

And I would become you
