Take me as I am. Swallow me up, whole, I am yours and nothing more.
Read my thoughts and memories in the roads carving and curving through my skin.
Picture me broken, then you'll see that I am unwavering.
My mind is set on you and you can't try just like I have.
I want you to teach me what love means so that I can finally let go of the shaking heads.
My heart moves like your mouth so please keep whispering the waves to my awaiting, thirsty ears.
The hairs on your neck can dance with my fingers, so let's write them a song.
You keep me and I try to dream of staying but it's so hard when it's cold.
The miles and my thoughts are getting longer so that I may break.
I may wash my stained tears with the rose petals that drip from the plentiful sky of the inside.
And maybe one day I'll turn gold.
