Icy Eyes

She looked up into his icy eyes,

Not understanding why he's saying goodbye.

Painful silence flowing through the air.

She begged and begged, saying she cares.

He swiftly kissed her, saying he'll be watching from above.

Maybe some day he'll be coming as a white dove.

Slowly, he backed away then disappeared.

She laughed to herself, saying she'll be banning beers.

No more weeping, he doesn't want that.

Day to day, shethinks about himmore,

Knowing they'll be together at the next door.

The animals say it won't be long,

Soon she'll be in his arms.

She promises him she'll be there soon,

Anxiously waiting for him to make her a sweet tune.

This poem was just something I conjured up in Math class so it's not that good.
