Antarctica

Across the ice, you stake your claims
Pointing fingers, we're to blame
This frozen world's not yours alone
Not something any land should own
You're fighting for it, what's at stake?
To protect, or just to take?
I just can't see what you gain
Power only brought us pain

Share and share alike, thought we were the selfish ones
Now we come in peace with telescopes instead of guns
Open up your eyes, we're really all the same
So why can't we just share the world instead of staking claims?

Drawing lines, so full of doubt
We put up signs, keep others out
Fences, oceans, men with guns
Let's stop this all and live as one
The past to peace begins with trust
Let these walls crumble into dust
Let go this piece of ice you hold
So hearts are warm where air is cold
