The Most Important Thing In Life
What is the most important thing in life?
Do any of us really know?
You say your wife.
And you there, before you go,
Tell me please, is it beating your foe?
You ask "If you're so smart,"
"Share you knowledge with us."
You want me to give you a chart?
Tell you as we ride on a bus?
No; I don't want to make a fuss.
I will share it with you,
I will always laugh and give you a smile,
If you do this one thing. It's true.
You still want to know and you have for quite a while.
This is really becoming a trial.
Well, here you go.
It is living my life without any regret.
I know it's not anything knew.
I'm not looking for any applause I know I will not get,
But rest assured I will never fret.

Well, it's my first poem ever that I've not been forced to write.I like it though, even if the writing style (ABABB) is completely unoriginal.
