HuanHuan

Dear HuanHuan,
I found you downstairs, on my mother's bed, while she cleaned under it. I claimed you as my own and vowed to protect and keep you. I have, so far, (mostly) kept my promise (except that time on the bus Grant squished your face and made you do the splits. I'm sorry) like I said I would. I carry you on my belt loop and let you see the world through your own wide eyes. Even when I have no belt loops, I keep you on my hoodie strings, or dangling on my backpack, though I always worry whether someone has taken you from me. I love you dearly, like my own child. But I fear I will discard you like I have done with the rest, If I do, please forgive. I am but a mere child, with the mind of a fish. But for now, I will love you with all my heart.
Me
