Keep The Frame Of It

Wild fires in your eyes,
I get so carried away,
And I begin to say things I shouldn't say.

Put the harsh words down,
take my emotions and strip them down.
But I doubt you can.
It's so hard to find,
take the sutures in your hand, and stitch up my mind.

I doubt you can.

Ice on my breath,
I can't stand confrontation
and I hate this hesitation to say what I mean.

You're just an imitation of what I want.
Your wildfire will soon burn itself out.
And I doubt you can continue to burn me down.
