A Rose Symphony

A pulse in the night
in a clearing see,
red white and blue
a rose symphony.
The music holds sway
the moon flooding light
a feeling of serenity
a soft, and safe sight.
Holding out a hand
he leads her, in dance
striding and dipping
like a lovely romance.
Her eyes they do shimmer
he smiles so sweet
and appears then a rose
swinging to the beat.
A candle is lit
the music softly plays
and down on one knee
he says one phrase.
Peddles float down
like a feather on a breeze
she gasps every lightly
as tears drip down her cheeks.
She feels the beauty
as he slips on a ring
so happy, so lovingly he sings,
my rose
my peddle
my red white, and blue
a song of velvet touch
in the stillness of the moon
you’re lovely, you see
I love you so much
my rose symphony.
