Make A Change

She looks in the mirror,
And can't stand the sight,
She thinks she's overweight,
When her body is just right.
She laughs with her friends,
But cries to sleep at night.
She's tried not to eat,
But it made her skin pale white.
She's taken diet pills,
For six months everyday,
To try to make her beautiful,
In each and every way.
She has a gorgeous face,
But no one seems to care,
Because if you aren't skinny,
You really can't compare.
Society's always telling us,
That whether you're short or tall,
If you aren't thin,
You don't matter at all.
So today she'll put a stop to it,
She's going to make a difference.
No matter what you look like,
Don't change for an instant.
She tells them her life story,
How she used to feel the same,
Unitl she had enough,
And decided to make a change.
She stood up for what she believed in,
And changed the way of life.
Now she goes to sleep,
With a smile, every night.
