the lone girl

Quite we all are
Silent as the night
Softly the hearts beat
Is what the night meets
Alone is a girl sitting there
Tears streaming down her face
Thoughts racing faster than lighting
Thoughts of him, her once sweet lover
Her heart is starting to perish, fading into the night
The blade glistens in the pale moonlight, lying against her skin
The blood begins to pour falling like the rain
Slowly she sinks to the ground and death is entered again
