The Truth in Darkness

What is darkness to me,
but a time to reflect.
A moment of peace,
A word of respect.

The light, so obvious,
It tries to hide its truth.
But the dark is much more honest,
Showing wisdom beyond its youth.

In the dark, the stars are seen,
and the moon then gives its glue.
But we with eyes blinded by fear,
Are never to see or know.

The truth can be found in places,
that are often dark in our sight.
But looking into our own hearts,
we must only remember to turn on a light.
