Valentine's Day

Last year I wrote a comical 'allergies' love poem for my boyfriend (I also have that posted on here). This year I decided to actually try my hand at a real-deal love poem for my now finace.
I'm not very good at mushy-gushy gag-worthy stuff, but I can't help but wonder if this is too over the top?

If you're a boy and you read this will you please let me know if this is too much? If it is I won't give it to him.

Otherwise enjoy this:

I love you to the stars
I love you to the moon
When you think I can’t love any more
I find out that’s not true.

I love you to the ocean
I love you to the sky
I love you to the wispy clouds
Drifting slowly by

I love you soft as a breeze
I love you strong as the sun
I love you in so many circles
I don’t know where I’ve begun.

I love you when it’s sunny
I love you if skies aren’t blue
When you think my love’s used up
There’s still more that can accrue.

I love you more than a whisper
I love you more than a song
I love you more than the summer
When the sun stays out too long.

I love you when you kiss me.
I love you when you breathe
I love you when you hold me
In a hug and gentle squeeze.

I love you like a fire
I love you like my dreams
When you think my love is waning
It’s actually bursting at the seams.

I love your silly laughter
I love your gentle gaze
You’re smile makes me catch my breath
In many different ways.

I love you higher than mountains
I love you deeper than the sea
It makes me feel so special
That your heart belongs to me.

I love you through the evening
I love you all day through
When you think I can’t love anymore.
I find out I do.

I really enjoyed writing this. Don't read it quick. Read it slow and gentle.
