Bold Amongs the Dull

In this world toungs are bitten suppressing opinions and dreams
In this world all is black white gray no in-between.

The people they all follow the flow
Floating like immobile leaves forced where ever the current goes.
Like fish who never swim against the stream never bold never exciting.

But in this world one stands alone clad in colors that shriek
They shout the words he can not speak.
Their threads weaving the vibrant story of his dreams

Society is a mighty wall that slams down a hammer fist
All beneath are crushed and bend forcibly

But he found a way around
he did not bend or break but blocked the mighty blow

With no words his voice is heard
The lone fish swimming opposite of everything
Leaving glints of inspiration has he rushes past floating leaves.

In his world there are no black whites and grays
Only color
Only the in-between

It was a poem I wrote for English class but it turned out to be better than I thought I would write for a class.
