The Cost of Freedom

Does freedom
come without a cost?
Most people
seem to think so.
But some of us
know better.
Our military
fights for our freedom
and many die.
The civil war,
Hundreds of thousands
of people
dead.
That is
the costly
price of
the freedom
that most people
take for granted.
