Day's Difference
You wake up in the morning thinking it's just another day.
get up, get dressed, it's all so boring but sometimes things get in the way
Sometimes it's hard when your life feels like it's on repeat
you just need something to make your heart skip a beat
You waste all your time waiting for a change to liven up your life.
Life's all about the difference,
the difference a day can make.
And sometimes you get this feeling,
a feeling you just can't shake
As the day goes by someone plays one of your songs
It made a complete difference in their life
You made that person believe a difference could be extremely bright
You are the light, the light that shines at the end of a tunnel
Its the light to a difference in a person's life

then you just might have to go out & make a change

this was our entry into Days Difference's Valentine's Day contest. If you haven't heard of them, they're a band made up of two sets of brothers from Virginia Beach. You should definitely check them out (http://www.myspace.com/daysdifference). They're really cool guys and have catchy songs. They're friends of mine, so it would mean a lot to me if you would give them a chance :]and if you couldn't tell, this poem/song (Katie and I are still working on setting it to music) is about the meaning of Days Difference's name, which is about the difference a day can make in your day.
