Repunzel

Once upon a time
there was a girl in white,
she cried and cried and cried
each and every night.

Her life you see,
an onward tale of misery.
Nothing left for her to be.
She sought solace in figures of history.
From books and plays
her life en caved.

Her pretty white dress,
it became a mess
with love with live and all the rest.

Her hair, long as the oceans beyond
were all she was known by.
what point to be known
if your locked up alone.
A freak to the average eye.

Shadows in the night,
broke her soul in spite.
She had it all,
weighed down by those
of whom caused her to fall.

Looking down on that room,
she sees nothing now,
but impending doom.
A prison. A home,
she'd never felt so alone.

She stood on a ledge
Closed her eyes.
She took one last breath,
said no goodbyes.
Glancing down from that ledge
she took a faithful pledge

The wind it hit her face,
a mask being put to place.
Shattered in pieces as she hit the floor,
her mask, her life, broken once more.

Blood splattered,crimson upon the floor.
a scene of ultimate gore.
All that remains is a pretty white dress,
a pretty white dress, a pretty white dress.
